I have to tag some people!
LOL! This may be the best post yet. Although didn't every 80s horror film have characters with big hair? But yeah, great choices. Although I can't stand that Tina bimbo from Halloween 5. I just want to shake her hair and slap her like Leslie Neilsen does in Airplane!
ReplyDeleteNOT TINA WILLIAMS!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, she scares me.
Aww, no love for Tina? LOL.
ReplyDeleteShe was annoying, so don't feel bad. :)
I love this post
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the meme...love Night of the Comet!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love Night of the Comet too!
ReplyDelete...still laughing, great post and sad cause i tooo had the 80s hair... i still sport a mullet today...
ReplyDeleteRock that mullet!!! My hair likes to form into a mullet sometimes. It's a pain. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! This was an awesome post! Thanks for checking out my Once Bitten review. I thought it'd be your kind of flick. Speaking of which... it's been a while. Sorry! I haven't been able to get online much lately. These last few months have been CRAZY! I totally forgot to send you those DVDs I promised you. Do you still want them? If so, I'll work on getting 'em mailed out to you before the end of this month. Sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteThank you! No problem. Once Bitten is one of my favorites. I completely understand. You can send me those DVDs if you want to. If you do, I'll have to send you my new address. It's okay. I forgive you, haha.
ReplyDeleteRock the Mullet, sounds like the great start to a great song... if it were the Casaba...
ReplyDeleteFantastic collection....
ReplyDeleteI especially like Cheerleader Camp.
iZombie: "The rat tail don't like it...Rock the mullet! Rock the mullet!"
ReplyDeleteAndrew: Thank you! I had to put a pic up of Cheerleader Camp. Not many people mention that film. Love Betsy Russell!
Cheerleader Camp is a great cheesy classic. Your pic of Kevin Dillon's big 'do in The Blob had me laughing since I always see him as Johnny Drama nowadays.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you there, Geof! Kevin's hair was stylin', wasn't it? Haha. It is funny seeing him go from 1988's The Blob to Entourage today.
ReplyDeleteMorgan - From the other extreme, it's funny to see how much his hair looks the same (albeit a bit more receded) in Remote Control as in Entourage. Remember the film Remote Control (not the MTV game show, haha)?
ReplyDeleteI agree. I remember Remote Control, but I haven't seen all of it. Need to get on watching it entirely, haha.
ReplyDeleteOh hells to the yeah! Billy Wirth in The Lost Boys, growl! Now he was a horror hottie!! The 80's caused the hole in the ozone btw.
ReplyDeleteGreat images!
Dreaded Dreams
Petunia Scareum
Oh yeah! Billy Wirth = Major Hottie!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I think Marge Simpson in the Simpsons Halloween special winds hands down. If animated hair doesn't count, I would probably go with Caroline Munro in Slaughter High, towards the end when she comes back as a ghost.
ReplyDelete@ Morgan - CHEERLEADER CAMP is the bomb-diggety. Cool gathering of big hair... although I totally would have included Jon-Mikl Thor from ROCK 'N ROLL NIGHTMARE. ;)
ReplyDeleteMarge definitely has the biggest hair out of any character in TV/Film. Oh darn, I was meaning to put Caroline Munro in Slaughter High. Next time.
ReplyDeleteJ. Astro: Thank you! I would have added Rock 'n Roll Nightmare, but I haven't seen the film entirely yet.
ReplyDeleteThe Lost Boys will always be my favorite. YAY FOR VAMPIRE MULLETS!
ReplyDeleteFun film! Vampires haven't looked so cool since.
ReplyDeleteGenius theme! Loved it! The bigger the hair the closer to heaven.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! So true!
